Life, laughter, spirituality

A poem by Rupi Kaur

In a dream
I saw my mother
with the love of her life
and no children
it was the happiest I’d ever seen her

Over the Rainbow – Eva Cassidy

While looking for my Monday Morning Poem, this came to me and it chilled me and stays with me.

My mother was indeed happier before she had children. That, she told my sister and I often. My sister is now also up there with our mother, so I hope they’re both happy together because we all deserve that.

Peace, mummy and big sis.
