This is some of my favourite music. I hope you enjoy it as much as she does!

** Mr Bojangles – Nina Simone. An amazing, soulful singer who my father was incredibly lucky to see live at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London before she died.

**The Blower’s Daughter – Damien Rice. This song never ever bores me. It is nothing but exquisite!

**The Beloved – Sweet Harmony. This reminds me of my youth, when I was a crazy, drunk student in the 90s!

**Donna Summer – Love to love you baby. This reminds me of my childhood in the 70s, growing up in London and my parents loving Donna Summer

**Quadro Nuevo – Tu vuo’fa’ l’americano. This is just a great song, played loudly in a convertible on a beautiful summer’s day, whipping through the countryside!

** Buddha Lounge, 50 chillout essentials – The Touch. A very chilled out song but one that brings forth thoughts of jetting off on holiday and leaving all your troubles behind you!

**Beck  – Everybody’s gotta learn sometimes (from the film “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”. This is not only an amazingly thought-provoking film about lost loves but this song is beautiful and melancholic

**The Style Council – Walls come tumbling downJust a great song to get up on the table and rock to!

**Claudine Longet – Nothing to Lose (from the Henry Mancini songbook). This song was in the film “The Party” with Peter Sellers. It is such a brilliant 1960s film, very very funny with Sellers being the accidentally invited “idiot” who breaks everything. So worth a watch!

**Gabriel Yared – Betty et Zorg (from the film “Betty Blue”). Another exquisite film, a cult film I would say about the heartache of losing someone you love and your dreams. The whole soundtrack is incredible.
